The Palace and Stand are sold separately. So here we’re talking just about the stand.
It’s nothing fancy, just a cabinet with storage space behind doors.
But it’s strong enough to support the heavy Tortoise Palace. And it matches the Palace, so the whole set-up looks like a beautiful piece of furniture, not like a reptile home.
Durability and Ease of Use
The Tortoise Palace Stand is made of the same high-quality material as the Palace itself. It’s medium-density fiberboard (MDF) that’s solid and moisture resistant. It’s also easy to wipe clean.
Just like the Palace, you do need to put the Stand together. We didn’t find any reviews specifically about putting this thing together. But most reviewers of the Palace found it pretty easy to assemble.
The Stand should be equally easy.

Cost. This is really the main drawback we can find. As long as you have some other sturdy piece of furniture to put your Palace on, the stand isn’t strictly necessary. But the two pieces together do look nice. And the storage is convenient. So you’ll have to decide for yourself if you think the extra cost is worth it.

The Tortoise Palace Stand does seem to be a bit easier to find than the Palace itself. We suspect people are splurging on the Palace but taking a pass on the Stand, at least in the short term.
